Karakter protagonist Claire Redfield bakal hadir kembali di Resident Evil Revelations 2. Selain claire, Moira Burton, saudara perempuan dari Barry Burton (Resident Evil 1) juga bakal menjadi karakter baru yg turut meramaikan game zombie killer terkenal itu.
Menurut ungkapan dari situs Gamesmaster, Moira Burton, nantinya akan tampil sebagai rekan Redfield selama game ini berlangsung.
Resident Evil: revelations 2 mengambil setting di antara Resident Evil 5 & 6. Pemain akan menjumpai undead tipe baru yg akan menjadi musuh utama dalam judul ini.
Mereka mungkin terlihat seperti zombie, namun pada kenyataannya mereka cukup berbeda ungkap produser Micheteru Okabe.
