Indonesias Digital Media Industry Players Gather at Indonesia Digital Media Festival!

<p><img class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-127000" title="" alt="Indonesia Digital Media Festival" src="http://www.duniaku.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/indmf-1-640x318.jpg" width="640" height="318" /></p><p>Segitiga.Net and Bandung Institute of Technology (Institut Teknologi Bandung) initiated an event called Indonesia Digital Media Festival 2013 and invites all parties in digital media industry to participate. The event was held on 26-28 November 2013 at East Campus Center, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Bandung, open for public, and free! Indonesia Digital Media Festival (InDMF) 2013 itself was consisted of talk show, seminar, workshop, international conference, exhibition, and award honoring. This event was designed to bring the spotlight to Indonesias digital media all-star players and become the venue of a two-way communication for every digital media players and enthusiasts to share and exchange ideas ad innovations. InDMF 2013 invites as many digital media industry stakeholders as possible so that they can interact in a well-constructed venue.</p><p>At the first day, InDMF 2013 will have a talk show themed Empowering Society through Digital Media and the speakers are Harry Waluyo (General Director of Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesian Republic), Indra Utoyo (Head of MIKTI & CIO Telkom Indonesia not yet confirmed), Harry K. Nugraha (Sales Channel Director of Intel Indonesia), Edi Taslim (Director of Kompas Gramedia Digital Group not yet confirmed), and Ridwan Kamil (Mayor of Bandung).</p><p><img class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-127001" title="indmf-2" alt="Indonesia Digital Media Festival" src="http://www.duniaku.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/indmf-2-452x640.jpg" width="452" height="640" /></p><p>The seminar and talk show will also discuss other big theme such as creative development process, digital local contents, serious game, digital learning, incubation, intellectual property, etc. The speakers, among others, are James Gray (VP & GM, Disney Interactive South East Asia at The Walt Disney Company), Prof. Mohammad Suyanto (Rector of STMIK AMIKOM), Asril F. Syamas (Head of Asosiasi Inkubator Bisnis Indonesia), Christopher Quek (Director of Serious Games International, Singapore), Neeru Bahl (CEO of Mages Institute of Excellence), Dr. Ir. Gatot Hari Priowirjanto (Director of SEAMOLEC), and Prof. Dr. John Choi (CEO of MarkAny and Professor at Sangmyung University, Korea).</p><p>Other than seminar and talk show, there also will be exhibition for digital media product and prototypes made in Indonesia! such as apps, games, and animation. Several communities focusing in digital world in Indonesia will also display their activities. A light discussion while drinking tea or coffee, accompanied by live music by Java Jive was designed to create a cozy atmosphere where people can freely exchange ideas and opinions.</p><p>Several international and national conferences also included in this major meet-up for Indonesias digital media industry players. There was also award honoring events such as Prototype Award and INDRA 2013. The combination of academic and industry aspect was expected to bring a concrete collaboration.
