The Game Awards 2015 yg dilaksanakan pada 3 Desember 2015 waktu setempat / 4 Desember 2015 WIB telah mengumumkan sebagian pemenangnya. Dari 22 kategori yg ada, dua puluh kategori telah diumumkan pemenangnya.
Rocket League, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, & The Witcher 3: Wild Huntadalah tigagame yg mendapatkan penghargaan terbanyak yaitu dua kategori, dengan The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt keluar sebagai pemenang Game of The Year.
Yang menarik adalah keluarnya Rocket League sebagai pemenang Best Sports/Racing Game mengalahkan nama besar seperti FIFA 16, PES 2016, & NBA 2K16. Begitu juga dengan Her Story yg mampu mengalahkan Life is Strange, Tales from The Borderlands, & The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt dalam kategori Best Narrative.
