Pada tanggal 27 Februari 2016 nanti, tepat 1 hari sebelum piala Oscar bergulir, akan ada sebuah ajang penghargaan film yg cukup nyeleneh yg akan diselenggarakan. Kenapa dibilang nyeleneh? Karena pada ajang tersebut bukanmencari film-film terbaik, melainkan pada ajang ini mencari film-film yg buruk or bisa dibilang yg tidak berkualitas.

Meskipun dibilang cukup aneh, namun faktanya ajang penghargaan yg diberi nama Razzie Awards ini adalah sebuah ajang penghargaan yg telah diadakan selama 36 tahun. Razzie Awards mengumumkan daftar nominasi dari film terburuk sepanjang masa sampai Razzie Redeemer Award or penghargaan untuk film yg mempunyai reputasi jelek akan tetapi kini bersinar kembali di box office dunia.
