Several months ago, of course you still remember with similar event which is called Jogja Game Jam 48 Hours (JGJ48) held in Jogja Digital Valley. Jogja also becomes one of pioneers in holding out GGJ 2014 in Indonesia which is finally followed by seven cities. Besides Jogja, as we know GGJ is also held in Jakarta, Bandung, Depok, Semarang, Surabaya and Bali. How is the atmosphere of Global Game Jam 2014 Jogjakarta?</p><p>Global Game Jam 2014 Jogjakarta is attended by around 28 people from total 65 jammers who are actually registered. This event sponsored by Blackberry is also started with two Tech/ArtTalks as in other regions each of them is brought by Agro Rachmatullah (Meibi Studio) who presents theme Building Studio Game in Japan and Yogi Aditya (Hinocyber) who presents theme Post Mortem: Kitaria Defense Online. After the presentation, like in other regions, there are keynote video playing from GGJ 2014 center committee, plus announcement of GGJ 2014 theme which cannot be announced before last time zone in Hawaii starts.</p><p><img class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-137123" alt="Global Game Jam 2014 Jogjakarta" src="http://www.duniaku.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/duniaku-ggjjogja-2-640x480.jpg" width="640" height="480" /></p><p>Afterwards, grouping starts with various members amount, from five participants, even there are participants who become single fighter a.k.a developing the game alone! Not only digital game is developed by participants but also there is also board game. One of the participants is Frida Dwi who is usually called UBe, one of single fighters in GGJ 2014 develops board game titled Pizza Lover which then changed into Pizza Trader.</p><p style="text-align: center;"><img class="size-large wp-image-137124 aligncenter" alt="Global Game Jam 2014 Jogjakarta" src="http://www.duniaku.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/duniaku-ggjjogja-3-640x480.jpg" width="640" height="480" /></p><p>Entertainment is also provided in Jogja Digital Valley area as the site of GGJ Jogjakarta, one of them is a set Xbox 360 provided for jammers who are burn out in creating game. Besides that, there are a lot interesting moments happen in GGJ 2014 Jogjakarta. There are participants who are pessimistic and hesitant when forming the group, when they are motivated and given guide, the result is way above expectation. Really great! As recorded, there are eight games from Jogjakarta site created from eight teams formed.
