    Minggu (3/5) dini hari WIB, tandukan maut Arturo Vidal memanfaatkan umpan manis Stephan Lichtsteiner,berhasil memenangkan Juventus atas Sampdoria lewat skor tipis 1-0.

    Hasil itu berarti lebih dari sekadar kemenangan, karena Juve akhirnya sanggup memastikan scudetto Serie A Italia ke-31, sekaligus yang keempat secara beruntun.

    Keunggulan 17 poin milik Juve (dengan unggul satu partai), mustahil dikejar sang antagonis utama, Lazio, mengingat Serie A yang tinggal menyisakan empat pertandingan.

    Torehan itu juga terasa lebih luar biasa, karena sebelumnya I Bianconeri juga berhasil melenggang ke final Coppa Italia dan semi-final Liga Champions.

    Namun seperti biasa, Si Nyonya Tua dan para pendukungnya tetap menganggap gelar ini sebagai raihan ke-33 mereka di atas lapangan. Hal itu terjadi akibat kasus calciopoli yang merenggut dua scudetto Juve di musim 2004/05 dan 2005/06.

    Kedua sudut pandang jumlah itu masih jauh lebih banyak dari para pesaing mereka. Kompetitor gelar paling dekat adalah duo Milan, dengan masing-masing mengoleksi 18 scudetto. Sementara dua tim ibu kota yang tampil brilian musim ini, AS Roma dan Lazio, masih kalah jauh dengan akumulasi 5 scudetto.
